It is not clear whether Apple will market these cases in its own stores, but it is a campaign that should work well in this Asian country.
These cases are not new, it is already possible to find some unofficial ones on Amazon. Like all popular Apple products, merchandising around AirPods is in full swing.
Some of them have a real interest: this is the case of this waterproof case tested to IP67 standards. Moreover, the last rumour evokes AirPods 3 which would offer water resistance.
